Luang Prabang is the
ancient capital city of Laos, the first name of Luang
Prabang was Muang Sawa it was renamed Luang Prabang in the
name of the gold image of Buddha, the Prabang (fine Buddha
image).
Luang Prabang is perhaps
the best preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia with
its rich in cultural heritage, known as the seat of Lao
culture, with monasteries, monument traditional costume and
surrounded by many types of nature's beauty

Day 1: Arrive Luang
Prabang
Arrive at Luang Prabang Airport. Welcome with hospitality.
Transfer to hotel for check-in. It's time for rest and
relaxation.
Day 2: Luang Prabang
Breakfast at hotel. We travel by boat along the Mekong River
to visit Ban Xang Hai, a village where people produce Laos's
traditional alcohol distillation (rice wine) before heading
north to visit Pak-Ou village - the mouth of the Mekong
River, visit nearby the holly cave "Tam Ting"
where a thousand Buddha image installed. In the afternoon,
we bring you overland back to Luang Prabang; visit en route
a weaving village populated by Lu minority people that
originally came from Sipsong Panna in Southern China, Ban
Phanom
Day 3: Luang Prabang
Breakfast at hotel. Discovery the city by visiting the first
spot Wat Visoun, where the fine golden Buddha image, the
religious symbol of the Kingdom, was enshrined. It was
turned into a Museum of Religious Arts, and housed
collections of Buddha images and religious artifacts from
the 14th century. Within its precincts stands the gigantic
That Makmo (watermelon stupa), originally known as That
Patum or Lotus Stupa. Proceed to visit Wat Xienthong, is the
most beautiful among all monasteries of the city and
represents the typical Laos art style, situated on the bank
of Mekong River. Many old and beautiful religious artifacts
of the period between the 16th and 20th centuries, and some
ancient masterpieces of Laos art, for a valuable collection
of cultural heritage, the next visit is Wat Mai, a former
residence of the Patriarch of the Buddhist clergy. The
five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim is itself the traditional
Luang Prabang style. End the last monastery at the former
Royal Palace, now turned into The National Museum; it houses
the Royal throne of Lan Xang kingdom in its original
splendor, and many other regalia and religious treasures. We
drive you overland en route to Kouangsy Waterfall, located
in an ideal area deep in the forest, away from human
habitation. It is perfect for rest and relaxation - on the
way to the falls, an ethnic village Ban Tha Paen can be also
visited.
Day 4: Depart Luang
Prabang
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Luang Prabang Morning Market -
this market has a wide variety of shoes, silver, gold, Lao
style clothing, handicrafts and souvenirs before
transferring you to airport for departure flight.
