The highlight is to take you
to see treasures of Laos history ; the amazing landscapes around Xieng
Khouang city show what is left from the heaviest bombs during
Vietnam War. Savour the picturesque bird-eye views of numerous
craters on the ground and experience the word's wonder like,
"Pain of Jars".
Day 1: Arrive Vientiane
Arrive at Wattary Airport or Thadue Friendship Bridge.
Welcome with hospitality. Transfer to hotel for check-in.
Afternoon visit Wat Ong Teu, the biggest Buddha of the city
with monk's college , Wat Simuang, Wat Sisaket, Horprakeo,
That Luang, the national shrine with the golden stupa, and
the last stop at Monument Patuxay or Arc de Triumph
Day 2: Vientiane - Xieng
Khouang
Breakfast at hotel and we transfer to domestic airport for
departure flight to Xieng Khouang, where was heavy bombed
during the Vietnam War - the local people use intact bomb
casings as pillars for new structures and as fence post. We
will take you to visit the impressive archeological
"Pain of Jars" - it's a large area about 8 km from
town, where appears the ancient and mysterious jars are
scattered allover the plateau. There are over one hundred
jars remaining in the area. The biggest jar is weighs as
much as 6 tons. Drive overland route to Muang Khune - former
capital of Xieng Khouang. Return to hotel.
Day 3: Xieng Khouang
Breakfast at hotel, we travel overland to Muang Kham and
visit Tham Piu and the spring. Visit en route Hmong village
and the war vestige of Indochina War. In the afternoon, we
transfer to hotel.
Day 4: Xien Khouang -
Vientiane
Breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to domestic
airport for departure flight to Vientiane.
