This is, of course, a very
special event offered "Wedding Ceremony" to the
visitors who wish to experience another way of getting
married traditionally. Marriage falls into two categories
there are Viva Hamhongkoun, the groom is taken into the
bride's house and Ava Hamhongkoun is where the bride is
taken into the groom's house. There re commonly practiced
among Low Land Lao. Preparations are made at the bride's
house for the groom relatives and other friends who will
come and join the ceremony. The groom family must grant the
bride prices and other salutations to the brief family prior
to the ceremony. Then the groom marching can begin to the
bride's house where the ceremony takes place. The groom and
his accompany are marched in a most joyous way, the play
Khene, drums and sing songs and shout as they come to the
bride's house. Before entering to the bride's house the
groom's feet have to be cleaned with the holy water first
with a believe that the water will clean out any unpleasant
things that come with the groom.
Day 1: Arrive Vientiane

Upon arrival at Wattay International Airport or Friendship
Bridge, you are welcomed by the hospitable meeting, and then
you will be transferred to your hotel. Follow by visiting
the sights of a city; Vat Simuang, Vat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo,
That Luang and hand -weaving village at Ban Nong Buathong.
All afternoon is free time.
Day 2: Vientiane - Luang
Prabang [B-L-D]
After breakfast at hotel, morning depart for domestic
airport and get on a scenic flight to Luang Prabang. Arrive
at airport, where our representative will meet you and
transfer you to the hotel. You, guys, the bride and groom
are preparing for the weeding event.
Day 3: Wedding Day

Breakfast, today is your blissful day. The bride and the
groom will dress up in traditional cloths; groom will be
armed with sword and carries a pouch holding flowers and its
candle in hand. While the bride is dressing up with silk
long skirt and her hairs will be put up and tie with gold
and jewelry. Then the "Hai Keu" will be started
just outside the hotel, people will sing, dance, play drum
while the groom and relatives are marching to the hotel. All
traditional performances and Baci will be started for about
30mns. Lunch and Lamvong Lao dance.
Day 4: Luang Prabang

After breakfast at hotel, begin the day with city tours;
visit former royal temples, Wat Visoun where one can see the
Biggest Buddha statue in Laos and many ancient wooden and
bronze Buddha images collected from the ruin of temples in
the north of Laos. Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful
temple in Luang Prabang with its mosaic decoration and the
former royal carriage. Visit a nearby Mount Phousi, where
you can climb up to absorb the panoramic view from the top
of hill. Enjoy a candle light dinner on the cruise along the
Nam Khan River with aura romance.
 Day 5: Luang Prabang

Breakfast at hotel, today we take you to visit the museum
(former king's palace), keep continuing by a boat ride on
the Mekong River to see and taste Lao Alcohol distillation
at Ban Sang Hai and visiting the holly cave "Tam
Ting". Picnic lunch en route will be served the way.
Before sunlight ending, we take you back to Luang Prabang,
visit along the way a famous weaving- village at Ban Phanom
and Wat Phone Phao
Day 6: Luang Prabang

Breakfast at hotel, we travel by car to visit Ban Tha Paen,
an ethnic village then continue to Kwangsi Waterfall where a
picnic lunch will be served In the afternoon, you lead you
to Luang Prabang Airport and catch a domestic departure
flight to Vientiane. The rest of day will be free.
Day 7: Vientiane [B]
Breakfast at hotel, we pick you up from the lob for last
visit at The National Museum and keep moving to Wattay
Airport or Friendship Bridge
