This is a complete and
relaxing package tour that will take you to see almost
throughout the country. Starting from Vientiane with the
beauty of ancient temples and stupas, and then a wonder of
"Plain of Jars", and other cities further south.
With this tour, you will be learning very much of Laos as
well as relaxed in its calm environments.
Day 1: Arrive
Vientiane [L-D]
Meet on arrival at Wattay International Airport or
Friendship Bridge then transfer to hotel. Visit the
religious temples in the city: Vat Sisaket, Ho Prakeo,
That Luang Stupa. Lunch will be provided at a downtown
restaurant.
Day 2: Xieng Khouang
[B-L-D]
Breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to domestic airport
and take off to Xieng Khouang. Arrive at Phonsavanh, pick
you up to hotel and lunch at the restaurant downtown.
After lunch, start a journey by visiting the Plain of
Jars: mysterious and ancient, the stone jars are
apparently carved out of solid rock and are scattered all
over the plateau. The biggest jar is more 3.25 meters
high. There are several different theories as to the
purpose of the jars, which are estimated to be 2,500 to
3,000 years old. According to local legend, King Khun had
them constructed in order to store wine for the
celebration of his conquest. Some researchers have
suggested they served as sarcophagi for the dead.
Day 3: Vientiane [B]
Breakfast at hotel, morning trip visit the local market
before moving to the airport. Take off to Vientiane.
Welcome with hospitality and then transfer to hotel. Rest
of the day is at your own leisure.
Day 4: Vientiane -
Champasak [B-L-D]
Breakfast at hotel, we are en route to Champasak by
private car. A short visit is the rampart stone of Thakek,
mysterious and ancient, not yet identified how old it was
and what it used in the past. And keep visiting the local
museum in Savannakhet where fossils of Dinosaur were
conserved. We will arrive at Pakse in the hours of. Diner
and good night!
Day 5: Pakse - Khong
Island "the Land of Four Thousand Islands."

Breakfast at hotel, we keep driving overland to Champasak
district to visit Vat Phu, archeological site built in 6th
century by Khmer. It is a pre-angkorian temple intend to
Brahmanism practices of the people living in the
Champapura city. Indeed when research was under taken in
the area close to Vat Phu temple by UNESCO, a former city
discovered and presently hidden under the ground by the
time. Proceed to visit Vat Ou Moung, a religious sanctuary
located close to the Mekong River and related to Vat Phu
temple history. In late afternoon, we arrive at Khong
Island, "the Land of Four Thousand Islands.
Day 6: Pakse [B-L-D]
Breakfast at hotel, we pick you up at hotel lobby for a
boat landing and travel by boat downstream to Ban Khone
Island. On the way natural beauty and ecology
well-preserved can be seen, and call too for relaxation.
Visit the remains of French protectorate period:
locomotive, bridge, railway… and Li Phi Waterfall or
"the Corridor of Devil". Keep going on a boat
journey upstream to Ban Na Kasang, a fishery village and
overland route to visit Khone Papheng Waterfall, an
impressive sight and wonder of the Mekong at that stage.
Proceed to Pakse and we will get there in daylight hours.
Day 7: Depart Pakse
[B]
Breakfast at hotel, visit the surroundings of city before
moving to Vang Tao Chong Mek (Laos-Thai border for
departure).
